Lyceum Star

Every Year we arrange Lyceum Star Program for HSC examinees. This is a test of several stages based on HSC syllabus of three subjects, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. We have got huge response from the students in the previous years. Their participation, enthusiasm and excellence has charmed everyone. Lyceum Star helps to stay in touch with studies before the admission coaching begins and gives a clear idea to the students how their Admission Tests is going to be.

How to Register

You can register at any branch of  Lyceum coaching center, starting from October 1^st, 2015 (9am-5pm).

Students outside Rajshahi can also register in the time mentioned above.

Registration fee: 100/= taka.

Primary selection (as on 2016):

After these, selection exam will be held on every Saturday onwards. Ten selection exams will be held in total.

Exam Center

Your exam center will be the same branch of Lyceum coaching center where you have registered. Top 10 students in each exam will be awarded with attractive prizes. And top 50 students from each exam will be selected for the final stage. If a student fails, he/she can re-register for attending the next exam. If a student passes, he/she will be automatically become eligible for the final exam. For students outside Dhaka, exam will be taken on the same date and combined result will be published. 500 students in total will be selected from 10 exams. The final exam will be held after the HSC exam. Time and date will be announced through newspaper in appropriate time.

Exam Subjects:

Based on the HSC syllabus, 100 MCQ questions will be set. Marks distribution: Physics-35, Chemistry-30 and Mathematics-35 . A student will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and for each incorrect answer 1 mark will be reduced. Duration of each exam will be 90 minutes.

Rewards:

500 students will participate in the final exam. The final exam will be held in Dhaka. The student with the highest marks will be announced as the “Lyceum Star” and he/she will receive prize bonds worth taka 30,000/= as reward. Besides, he/she will receive full free studentship for all the admission programs by Lyceum. Sunrise will provide its best effort to make him/her a “Star” in engineering, medical or university admission as well.

The 1^st runner up will receive prize bond worth taka 20,000/= and the 2^nd runner up will receive prize bond worth taka 10,000/=. They will also receive Full free studentship for all the admission programs by Sunrise. They will receive special attention for making a good result in admission tests. Top 100 students in the final exam will get an opportunity to visit famous writer Humayun Ahmed’s “Nuhash Polli” with the Lyceum family. It will be a day full of different sorts of fun for them. More than 50 games will be there, each with attractive prizes! And of course, everyone will enjoy their meal together in a joyful environment.
